Questions
Where does the data come from?
County parcel and tax records, state road and stormwater maps, FEMA flood zones, the US Fish and Wildlife Service wetland inventory and USGS elevation. All public. The docs list every source.
Which counties are covered?
All 100 North Carolina counties have parcels, owners and tax values. Flood, wetland, slope, sales and zoning are being added county by county. Georgia is next. The coverage map on the home page is kept current.
Is this a survey or a title search?
No. Acresift is for screening: deciding which parcels deserve a closer look. Confirm with the county, a surveyor and an attorney before you buy.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for.
